Slovak women in Padina

On Friday 10th April 2015 a book presentation Slovak women- the life stories of Slovak women in Vojvodina, was held in Padina.

The presentation was held in the premises of the Padina's local community and it was organized by the association of women, elementary school and the library. The present including the guests, the directress of CIVS Milina Sklabinská, the chief of the Department of Slovak language and Literature Jarmila Hodoličová, were greeted by the chairperson of the women association Elena Haníková.  

The evening was enriched by recitations of Katarína Petrášová, Elena Ďurišová, Anna Marušníková and Mária Galasová, who were successful participants in this-years women recitation of poetry and prose competition.  

The book discussed one of the authors Jarmila Hodoličová and Milina Sklabinská as the directress of the Cultural Institute of Vojvodina's Slovaks, which is the publisher of the book. The present had the opportunity to hear snatches from the book Slovak women, read by Milka Petrovičová, Anna Halajová and Jana Kováčová who also moderated the soirée.

After the presentation there was refreshment prepared and every visitor got a copy of the book.
